A participant from our study group reports the following.

About two years ago, I felt something spherical and firm in my left breast that was also painful when pressed. Since I had been familiar with New Medicine for some time, I didn’t go to the doctor to spare myself a worrying diagnosis. I observed the situation for a while and realized that I was also experiencing some night sweats in the chest area. So I must have recently been resolving a worry conflict regarding mother/child (since it was my left breast that was affected), and the conflict was quickly identified. I have two children and, until recently, was in a relationship with a new partner (not the children’s father). He had a troubled relationship with alcohol, which repeatedly led to one or another outburst within the family, from which my younger daughter in particular suffered. This likely led repeatedly to worry conflicts regarding my children, causing the mammary glands in the mother/child breast to begin growing. About three weeks before I noticed the symptoms, I separated from this man because I wanted to ensure a safe environment for my children, and thus began healing with some night sweats but no other noticeable symptoms.

Interestingly, I can still sometimes feel this lump even today. I always retain more water in the second half of my cycle (activation of the renal collecting ducts, but that’s another topic).

During this phase, the cavity that formed back then—which remained as a residual condition—fills with fluid and becomes noticeable. But since there are no other symptoms and the conflict has been permanently resolved, I’m simply glad to have understood the connections and to be able to face the situation with calm.
