Description
The following symptoms started 11 days ago: runny nose, laryngitis, mucous build-up in the right lung with green-yellow sputum. I feel exhausted and have slight aching limbs. This long course of illness is completely uncharacteristic for me.
This night at 4 a.m., I had a dream about a traffic accident with blood on the road.
Suddenly, I realized: This was the epikrisis of my death-fear conflict that I experienced while on vacation in Thailand:
I was driving past a woman in a taxi; she was lying motionless face down on the asphalt—blood on the road. This sight was a terrible shock to me.
That was on April 21.
On May 4, I became ill.
I have been completely healthy again since May 17.
What do you think?
Note from Björn Eybl
Yes, Anne, a fear-of-death conflict (about someone else). In the active phase, alveolar cells multiply.
About two weeks later (on May 4, back in Germany), you came to a resolution: The tasks of everyday life allowed you to forget the event.
> Breakdown of excess alveolar cells – purulent sputum.
The dream reminded you of the conflict – a classic epi-crisis.
Now everything is fine again.
It's great you managed without antibiotics – you showed good nerves/were confident.
